Core Business
EXORPHIA is developing acellular EV-based embryo culture technologies for assisted reproductive technology (ART).
Our approach applies extracellular vesicle (EV) science to the ex vivo embryo culture process.
This technology is designed for use in the laboratory embryo culture environment. It contains no living cells and is not administered to patients.

Challenges in IVF
As more people delay childbearing, IVF is increasingly used at ages when reproductive potential has begun to decline. With advancing maternal age, patients often face fewer available oocytes, lower embryo developmental potential, and reduced chances of live birth.
While ART has made significant progress, many technologies focus on selecting the best available sperm or embryo. Selection is important, but it does not directly support the culture environment in which embryos develop.
EXORPHIA is focused on this opportunity: developing a new approach to embryo culture that supports the ex vivo environment where early embryos grow.
EXORPHIA’s Approach

EXORPHIA focuses on extracellular vesicles (EVs) as a new approach to ex vivo embryo culture.
EXP02 is an IVF culture media supplement containing EVs manufactured from umbilical cord-derived cells obtained with donor consent and under defined eligibility criteria. It is designed to be added to existing embryo culture media.
This technology is acellular, contains no living cells, and is not administered to patients. It is intended solely for use in the ex vivo embryo culture process.
Product Positioning
EXP02 is an acellular IVF culture media supplement. It contains no living cells and is not administered to patients. It is intended solely for use in the ex vivo embryo culture process, where it is added to existing embryo culture media in the laboratory. EXORPHIA is advancing the quality and safety evaluation appropriate for this intended use.
